Combine Academy vs. Moravian Prep

This may be the game of the weekend, which is saying something. But this is the No. 1 ranked team (Combine Academy) taking on the No. 2 ranked team (Moravian Prep) to start the season according to Phenom Hoops.  These teams played against each other last year and there is no love lost between them.  Combine Academy has taken some hits but have come away with some strong victories, but will they be able to slow down the outside shooting from Moravian Prep' This game ALONE is worth the ticket price for this event.

Hamilton Heights comes into town

Coming from Tennessee, Hamilton Heights heads to North Carolina in hopes of making some noise.   Regarded as one of the premier teams in the region, they have the talent to back it up.  When looking at the roster, you see size and big-time talents on the court.  First off, you look at 2024 6'11 Somto Cyril who holds multiple high-major offers.  Then you have the Andrews brothers on the court, while several other young players that will be big-time targets for many.  They won't have it easy going up against Winston Salem Christian and Combine Academy, but this is a very talented program that can come in and secure some big wins over the weekend.

What will The Skill Factory bring to the floor and can they knock off two NC teams'

Another out-of-state team coming to North Carolina, The Skill Factory will also be another team to watch.  They also have high-major talent that will be taking the court, including Xavier commit Kam Craft, 2023 Kaden Cooper (offers from Elon, Oklahoma State), 2024 Latham Sommerville (offers from Wake Forest and Bradley), and 2024 Rodrigo Farias (offer from Georgetown). TSF will match up against The Burlington School and WS Christian, two premier programs in North Carolina; it should be an absolute battle.

Is it time to start taking a look at Forsyth Country Day'

They are coming in undefeated to start the season and what makes this team so intriguing is just how young they are and the talent they have.' You have multiple 2024 guys that are looking to be tremendous developing talents, along with 2025 Q Williams leading the charge.' But Forsyth also has some key seniors in Sterling Charles and Brandon Morgan that help them a lot.' Not only will they be playing at home but they have some big matchups, and if they can secure some wins, they will be really attracting attention their way.

Look out for De'Ante Green and Asheville Christian

Asheville Christian was a different team last year when De'Ante Green joined the program' but that is easy to say when you add the No. 1 player in the state to your roster.  The Florida State commit leads the charge again and has some strong outings already.  He can operate in an array of ways, is a big-time matchup nightmare for opponents, and can be a big presence in the paint.  What is there not to like about watching one of the top players in the country on the floor'

Intense, underrated matchups with a few North Carolina teams

This one is easy to look at' There are so many games outside the teams that were mentioned above, that will be in big games.  Why wouldn't you be in attendance or tune in on the live stream'  Quality Education vs. NC GBB, Cannon vs. Piedmont Classical, Word of God vs. Trinity of Raleigh Academy, The Burlington School vs. Concord Academy' everywhere you look you will find some big-time talent you will see at the next level.  So come and enjoy these intense games, as well as others in Lewisville.
