April is one of the biggest months when it comes to the AAU season. Players and teams are looking to play in the right events, which is why Phenom Hoop Report is hoping to provide that platform all month long.

We kick off the month of April in a big way with the Stay Positive, as teams from all over the region will come to compete. Nationally ranked players and teams, along with unsigned talented seniors, and rising prospects will all be on the courts this weekend in Greensboro.

So let’s dive into a few players to watch this weekend.

Team: NC Go Hard 17u

6’3” 2020 LucRichard “Luc” Rameau, PG/SG

Coaches Talk: Luc started for the Varsity Men’s Basketball Team at Ravenscroft High School in Raleigh, NC this year. He’s a strong solid guard that shoots the ball from the outside and scores in the inside anytime he wants too. His defense was phenomenal throughout the season. He received All-State and All-conference awards. Luc’s stats during his fall high school season were very impressive. He scored 461 points (15ppg), FT% 85, Reb 3.7 ppg, Ast 86, Stl 28. Luc is one of NC’s class of 2020 prospects to keep an eye on going forward.

6’1’ 2019 Colin Davis, F

Coaches Talk: Colin played for the Varsity Men’s Basketball Team at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC this year. He’s a very versatile forward. He’s quick, agile, consistently attacks the basket to score for his Team, and his vertical jump is incredible and shows when he dunks the ball. Colin’s recruitment should begin to take off during this AAU season.
