Player/Game Notes:
After 3 straight blowout losses PSB showed some life early as Upward would struggle on the offensive end. Eventually Upward would find their mojo and take a 10 point lead into the half. 10 grew to 20 in the first 2 minutes of the 2nd half and from there the route was on. Upward Stars gets this one in a cake walk. Player notes are as follows:
Hunter Sloop, 6'6 2021 F with Upward Stars – Big was a shot swatter and rebound getter all game long. Defense is ahead of the offense at this point but this is not uncommon for young bigs. Needs to get stronger on the offensive end but shows signs that it is there to be had.
Jarvis Moss, 6'3 2021 W with Upward Stars – Good looking athlete showed well in this one. Made plays in transition but also showed moves inside as well. Kid runs the floor hard and showed ability to finish in traffic.
Daniel Lubamba, 6'2 2021 W with Upward Stars – Springy kid with nice 2nd effort around the lane. More athlete than player at this point but this type of active energy can be refined easily enough if you take the time to do so. Active on the defensive end as well often creating offensive opportunities in the process.
