Continuing to highlight players to start the summer, 2024 Grant Hamilton is one that should have the attention of many schools and will be one to watch in the coming months. Phenom Hoops has had the chance to watch him on multiple occasions in the last month, and he has proved himself in a big way.
This past season at Weddington, Hamilton led the charge for his team, averaging nearly 16ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.1spg, and shot 43 percent from behind the arc. And he has been playing at a high level with CC Elite to start the summer, including an impressive showing vs. CP3 2024 when he went off for 34 points and hit multiple threes.
Once again, Hamilton impressed this past weekend at the Phenom Queen City Showcase, where we had this to say:
'Hamilton is an absolute competitor; you have to love how he plays and how he competes, and he is one that college coaches should be looking at him more. What you have to like about his game is how he can switch his game up, whether knocking down threes or making plays off the dribble; he is simply tough and finds ways to produce. Love his pace, love his feel, and love his vision on the court.'
Hamilton has made a statement to start the travel ball season, and it doesn't seem like he is slowing down any time soon. Hamilton can be a threat and be used in a variety of ways; whether it is his ability to change the game with his outside shooting, his IQ and feel in making plays for others, his ability to put on the deck and score inside the defense, or his overall energy and impact on the court, Hamilton knows how to fill it up. This is why this could be a big summer for the 2024 guard from North Carolina, as he will be one college coaches should have eyes on even more in the coming months.
