2028 Donnie Fairley (Carolina Bulldogs):
Fairley really impressed me throughout this event and is a player that I’m eager to see how he develops as well as continues to produce. This young man did everything he could to help lead his team to a championship, as he was unstoppable at times. His energy, motor, and relentless attack on the boards were so impressive, and he was filling it up all throughout. Fairley created second-chance points all weekend long, finishing through contact, getting to the line, and attacking the offensive and defensive boards. He is one to jot down in North Carolina and to watch.
2028 Isaiah Carter (Team Loaded):
Carter has the intangibles that has to get you excited and again, he is just one starting his story of what he could ultimately be. He has the length that makes him a tough matchup, and he can make opponents pay with his shot-making ability from behind the arc. Smooth and fluid release, high and confident, and consistent from the perimeter. Carter is just scratching the surface of what he could ultimately be, as he gets stronger and possibly bigger as a prospect. He should have the upside and could only flourish even more as he gets older.
2028 Damari Smith (Team Loaded):
One of the toughest guards that I saw at the event was Smith for Team Loaded. He was exceptional with the ball in his hands, as he plays with a different and scrappy mentality, willing to battle against any opponent. He excels as a scoring option, being able to create and get around defenders, penetrate and score over defenders with touch, create space and knock down shots from a variety of levels, and be a quick playmaker in creating for himself and others. Add that to his energy level on the defensive end, Smith has a lot to offer.
2028 Jacob Dyson/ 2028 Joshua Dyson (Carolina Culture):
Two young forwards that continue to make strides with their game, the Dyson brothers are ones that certainly should be names to monitor. At their age, they bring a nice blend of physicality, scoring strong around the basket, playing off each other, and bring good size. They finish well around the basket and I’m eager to see how they continue to grow and develop as forwards. Jot these two names down for future reference.
