The Knights of Chatham Charter should be a program of high interest this upcoming season, not that they weren't last year though.  The Knights had a special season last year, going 33-2 before falling just short of their ultimate goal of a state championship against Hayesville.

But the Knights look to be back once again from what we saw at the Phenom Summer Showcase, getting an early preview of what the team has to offer.  And to put it simply, this team returns much of the talent from last year and looks even more focused and ready to make another run in hopes of a title.

One can't deny the experience the Knights went through last year, as it should only help them. And now with this team older and wiser on the floor, there is a lot to like when you look at their roster early on.

They will have senior leadership with players such as Adam Harvey and Aamir Mapp, both of whom led the charge offensively last year.' Harvey is not only a leader but one that makes smart decisions, can knock down shots, and creates well for others. Mapp is the do-it-all, glue-type guy that plays with a ton of energy and can fill it up offensively. But then they have players like 2025 Beau Harvey and 2025 Brennen Oldham, both of which are now more experienced.' Beau plays strong and can get into the paint to finish well for his size, while Oldham gives the team athleticism, length, and size, one that has shown to be a nice presence down low but also moves really well around the court. You add those four returning to other key role players, many of which return as well from last year, this team looks dangerous and prepared to make another run.

They showed that at the Summer Showcase this past weekend in Advance, NC, as the Knights will be a must-see this upcoming high school season.
