Phenom Hoop Report is all Set to Bring You the 5th Annual Phenom’s National High School Showcase

Greensboro – Phenom Hoop Report is set to host the 5th Annual Phenom’s National High School Showcase presented by Chatlee Boats on November 16-17 at Greensboro Day School (5401 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro, NC 27455). This showcase will feature thirty (30) of the country’s elite basketball programs, each filled with talent, over this two day period. Tickets will be sold on site, the day of the event, until the quantity sells out.

In its first five years of operation, this event has caught the eye of the nation’s media as it routinely had some of the most viewed digital media videographers and most read print media groups in attendance. Max Preps has named this event a “Can’t Miss Prep Tournament…” and USA Today has called Phenom’s National High School Showcase a “Must See Tip Off Hoops Event…”.

Teams from seven different states, and Canada, will convene upon Greensboro, North Carolina as this 5th Annual event is how the nation typically sets its clock on the basketball season. This event will be the second event in the history of North Carolina basketball to use a shot clock (Read More Here). This hot ticket item has been much talked about with not much gray area. People either fall on the side that it’s great for the game or they don’t think adding a shot clock will matter. This will be the second time North Carolina has implemented the shot clock in a game situation.

This year Phenom Hoops will up the ante even more by partnering with SLAM Magazine High School Sports to provide the most exclusive coverage possible for one of the nation’s most high-powered events (Read More Here).

In only five years, Phenom’s National High School Showcase already has 6 players who have been drafted in the NBA draft, 7 players who were chosen to play in the McDonald’s All-American game and 115 players who went on to sign to play Division 1 basketball (Read More Here)

Phenom’s National High School Showcase presented by Chatlee Boats is set to feature many of the nation’s top prospects. There will be 20 players participating who have committed to Division 1 programs, including the likes of South Carolina, Alabama, Louisville, Ole Miss, Providence, Virginia, Mississippi State and more.

There will also be twenty players who are ranked among the nation’s Top 150 prospects in their respective classes including 2020 Isaiah Todd (Raleigh Trinity Academy), 2021 Carson McCorkle (Greensboro Day), 2022 Jaden Bradley (Cannon School), 2019 Juwan Gary (Liberty Heights) and 2022 Jalen Hood Schifino (Northside Christian) who have each participated in their age groups with Team USA.

Phenom’s National High School Showcase presented by Chatlee Boats will host three teams who started the 2018-19 season ranked among the nation’s Top 50 programs. Carmel Christian starts the year ranked 23rd by in the Fab 50, Greensboro Day starts off ranked 40th in the Fab 50 and Lincoln Academy is ranked 43rd by Prep Circuit.

2017 saw this event reach capacity with much of the day being standing room only. With a field of teams that is deeper and more talented than ever, we expect thousands of fans to line the stands as they watch the incredible competition. College coaches and nationally read media alike filed into the arena so they could put eyes on the unbelievable talent in the gym. The depth of talent coming to Greensboro, North Carolina will be off the charts.
