6'0 2024 Chase Daniel (CC Elite 16u)
Chase Daniel is a tough, quick, scrappy guard who plays extremely hard on both ends of the ball. He has a great ability to get inside the point time and time again and naturally makes the right play. Very good at finding his teammates for open shots and finishing amongst the trees inside. One area of Daniel's game I believe is underrated is his ability to guard the ball defensively. He has very quick feet and great defensive instincts which help him cause havoc all over the court on defense.
5'11 2024 Carson Daniel (CC Elite 16u)
Carson Daniel and his brother Chase, are two of the most exciting guard in the class of 2024! Carson is a true playmaker who can create at will. The quick, decisive young guard dominated this morning, showing off his smooth stroke and his high-level playmaking ability. He has a great feel for the game and is able to completely control the games pace with his play. A player to keep your eyes on over the next few years as he continues to develop into an exciting young PG!
6'4 2024 Jalik Dunkley-Distant (Bounce Elite Basketball 15u)
Jalik Dunkleydistant might have been one of the most athletic players I saw out of today's games. The quick, bouncy guard plays above the rim consistently. With good size and great ability to get inside the paint, Dunkleydistant dominated inside today with multiple high flying dunks. Dunkleydistant does an outstanding job being a presence on the glass as well. Finished with double-digit rebounds today while getting out in transition and finishing among the trees. A player to keep your eyes on over the next couple of years as his potential is through the roof!
5’10 2023 Jacob Magnuson (Bigger Than Basketball 16u)
Jacob Magnuson was in full control of the game's pace in every game he played in today. Yet being an undersized guard, Magnuson plays bigger than his size. The quick, active guard has a great pace to his game and naturally finds his teammates for open shots. Defensively, Magnuson was a complete pest. He does a great job of getting his hands in passing lanes and making it tough on opposing PG's. This is a player that I was very impressed with today and can't wait to continue following his development.
6’2 2023 Elijah Cathcart (NC Spartans 16u)
Elijah Cathcart was on absolute fire from three this morning. Finished the game going 4/6 from the three point line and doing so very efficiently. Showing off his smooth stroke and a nice ability to create for his teammates. A lengthy, quick guard who displayed a nice ability to put the ball on the floor and create immediate offense. A player who displayed his ability to take over a game by his high-level three point shooting. Cathcart has been very impressive so far this weekend.
