6’0 Antonio Bumphus of Garner Road- Gipson 16U is a really athletic guard who looks to get out in transition and finish above the rim. Gets to the lane very well and looks to create contact and finish. Really active on-ball defender who times his steals well. Brings energy and intensity to his team. Really good at attacking the lanes and kicking it to his teammates. Quick and Tough guard who plays both ends of the floor.
6’3 Nigel Okwakol of Garner Road- Gipson 16U is a leader for his team. Long, active off-ball defender who really looks to attack. Controls the pace of the game and consistently makes good decisions with the ball. Played very well in Pick & Roll sets as the ball handler showing a really good midrange pull up and also his ability to find his teammates. Has a really good feel for the game and rarely turned the ball over.
6’7 Jackson Noble of Greensboro Warriors 16U is the epitome of a solid stretch four. Really good shooter off the catch and is good in Pick & Pop situations. Rebounded the ball well and showed the ability to push the break some for his team. Has good vision and shows the potential to become a good passer.
6’0 Micah Simpson of BMAZE 2022 creates havoc on the defensive end. Extremely quick and scrappy guard who can really pick your pockets. Really attacks the rim well and can finish. Plays very well in transition. Showed the ability to also create for teammates. Plays the game with an edge and dictates the game with his on-ball defense. A very tough defender who takes pride in sitting on ball handlers.
5’10 Quinton Mitchell of Raising Young Men 16U was impressive yesterday and continues to impress today. A quick guard who thrives on the defensive ends. Terrific on-ball defender whose defense creates easy points in transition. His change of pace makes him hard to defend, especially in transition. Really quick and uses that to his advantage on both sides of the ball. Attacks the rim well with his speed and quick burst, creates contacts and finishes well. Also, created well for his teammates! Scholarship level player.
6’3 Dontavious Pettaway of Raising Young Men 16U played well again today. Using his length and sneaky quickness on the defensive end to get his hands on everything. Really got to the rim at will and finished consistently. Really great in transition and really gets downhill. Showed the ability to create for his teammates as well, tailing in a few assists. With his athleticism and length, college coaches should take a look at him, he has a lot of potential.
