Po’Boigh King

Chadlyn Taylor of Team United 8th Grade has the chance to develop into a great player. He has a lengthy frame that will fill out as he continues to grow. He showcased the ability to really shoot the ball from three while also being able to attack off the dribble and get to the basket. Despite his scoring ability, the most impressive part of his game was his ability to find open teammates. His IQ allowed him to create for himself and his teammates consistently. Defensively, he did a great job of utilizing his length to get deflections and cause turnovers which lead to easy points for his team. He is a player that will be a name to know within the next couple of years.

6'0 Hamilton Campbell '23 of Moravian Prep Regional has the overwhelming ability to create opportunities for his teammates. His overall IQ and passing ability is off the charts, he can and does consistently finish games with double digit assists. He is very crafty with the ball in his hands and seemed to touch the paint at will. He has the uncanny ability to make his teammates better; he is a true flor general. College to Scholarship Level Coaches looking for a pass-first point guard who will make your team better, this is your guy. He has the ability to run a team.

6'9 Jai Smith '22 of Word of God Academy has improved his game since I watched him last. Yes he is already a HM kid and yes he already has a ton offers, but I am impressed with his development. He showcased his ability to play with his back to the basket and really find teammates. You can easily say that he has been putting in some work on his ability to create for his teammates. I also see some improvement in his body as he has begun to start filling out his frame. Whatever College program that lands him is getting a stud with an extremely high work ethic. The amount of potential he possesses is outstanding.

6'7 Jeremy Gregory '22 of Mad Maxin' has a huge presence in the paint. He has the body and frame that allows him to carve out space for himself in the paint. He is a tenacious rebounder which allows him to get extra possessions for his team. He has phenomenal footwork in the post along with an array of post moves that allows him to be dangerous on the block. He also has great hands which allows him to catch passes and grab rebounds that most players couldn't; He has a knack for finding and getting the ball. Defensively, he is a great post defender and is hard to score on in the post. As he continues to develop, he will be a good player for whatever program he chooses to commit and sign to.

6'5 Po'Boigh King '22 of Word of God Academy really displayed his ability to score the ball in this last game finishing with 27 points. Playing alongside a high major talent, he made sure he was not overlooked. His ability to utilize his strength and quickness to get by defenders, keep them on his hip, and finish at the rim. He also showcased his ability to be an effective set shooter as he hit a few for his team. He has the uncanny ability to draw contact and get to the free-throw line consistently. With a combination of size, skill, and athleticism, I can see him having a great year with this team. College Coaches should begin recruiting him now and follow him throughout the season.
