6’5 Collin Murray-Boyles of Upward Stars Columbia 15U is really impressive and seems to get better each and every time I watch him play. He has a ton of potential and upside; could become a very good player. He attacks the boards and rebounds well on both sides of the floor. He possesses the necessary ball skills that allow him to handle it well enough to not only create for himself attacking the paint but also for his teammates. Has great footwork in the post and is patient. Has a good stroke on his jump shot and knocks it down when open. If I was a college coach I’d be getting to know him RIGHT NOW!
5’10 Jameen Moore of Team Together 16U absolutely exploded offensively for his team. He’s a super quick guard that really controls the speed of the game. Really good at attacking the lane off the dribble. With the blend of his quickness, handling ability, and shot-making ability, he was almost impossible to cover on defense. Has a great in-between game showing that he could be effective in the midrange; also hit a few from outside on the perimeter as well.
6’0 Khalil Brantley of Mint Hill Lakers 17U is a phenomenal scorer with a great feel for the game. Really uses his combination of quickness and handling ability to get to his spots and score. Scores extremely well off the dribble, showing the ability to hit the three and midrange consistently. Being that he is such a great scorer, teams tend to focus on him which allows him to create well for his teammates. He plays with a certain toughness, swagger, and grit that you look for in a guard. He certainly has the ability to catch fire and put up glaring numbers. Immediate offensive impact for any program that recruits him.
6’8 Elijah Tucker of Georgia Select Allstars 17U is a high-level player who can single-handedly turn the tide of a game. He has a unique combination of size, quickness, and scoring ability that allows him to dominate games from all over. He scores very well from all three levels of the court and is super versatile; throughout the game, he played almost every position. He can really handle the ball and accepts his role as their main option offensively. He showed the ability to also be effective in the post with an abundance of moves and finishes. He’s another player that can heat up fast and put up big-time numbers.
5’11 Jaylon Jeter of Upward Stars Columbia 17U is a low maintenance, low-risk type of player who yields a pretty good return. He is a very coachable player, does exactly what is asked of him. Plays super hard and makes winning plays. Can score the ball from just about everywhere on the floor. What he doesn’t get credit for is the way he can create. He really gets into the lane and seems to make the right play each time down. He is a solid defender who has no trouble holding his matchups. Has the potential to be a good College to Scholarship- Level Player.
6’8 Josiah Dow of Mint Hill Lakers 17U had a great showing in the last game, showing that he has improved his game over the course of the summer. He can rebound the ball and score it well inside the paint. He uses his length to disrupt shots around the rim making it difficult for the offense to score. The really intriguing part of the way he played was the fact that he stepped out and hit four threes. Showed the ability to knock down the open three with some consistency. Eager to see where his recruitment is as time begins to wind down. If he continues to shoot the ball with consistency, his upside and recruitment may begin to rise.
