Zach Jacobs first came across our eyes at the prestigious 2015 Virginia Top 80 event. He was an instant head turner, and in an event with numerous high major players and even McDonalds All Americans, Jacobs was a Top 5 standout that day.
Jacobs is a high academic kid, who started off his high school career at the Maggie Walker Governors School in Richmond. He has since transferred to Trinity Episcopal, who has a more competitive basketball program. Since his performance at the Virginia Top 80, Jacobs has blown up.
Jacobs now carries around 10 offers. After his performance in that Virginia Top 80 we wrote, “Jacobs was one of the surprise performers of the event. He showed the ability to produce, on both ends, consistently across the boards. Jacob’s camp Coach __ stated, “Zach is a warrior on the block and in the short corner. He has good shooting range, game knowledge, and his working ethic is wonderful.” Jacobs has good straight line explosion and scored above average on all of his camp criteria.”
Jacobs carries offers from the likes of Florida International, Air Force, NJIT, and a host of others. Like in all his other stops, he will have a host of wide ranging schools watching him.
