What a great event it was this past weekend, with Phenom Hoops bringing in some of the top talents from South Carolina all under one building. A state that has been rich with talent but at times goes under the radar, it seems like there are some players to be found and we are looking to highlight that even more.
2024 Caden Kreger is a player that really opened our eyes this summer during the LIVE period and has only continued to be a name that pops up. What is there to like about his game' Well, you have to like his ability to be a big threat from outside first, as the 6'7 prospect has size and confidence from the perimeter. He has an extremely quick release and makes defenders pay if they give him any space on the court. With his range and ability to stretch the floor, to go along with is utmost confidence, he can be a real difference-maker. But then you add his IQ, his skill set, and his ability to make the right decision, Kreger is one that I honestly believe should be getting more looks his way and can really be a tough mismatch on the court.
At the South Carolina Top 80, Kreger showed just that in averaging 11.7 points per game and should really be an even bigger threat at Powdersville this season. Watch out for his name to pop up more in South Carolina.
