South Carolina Top 80
Event Breakouts (Part 1)
By Jamie Shaw

6'6' 2019 Marlow Gilmore
Hunter Tyler Kinard High School

Gilmore is a freak athlete, incredibly quick twitch. He has good size and ended up winning the Mr Defense award of the entire event. Gilmore has upside as a multiple position defender. The ball seems to find him, he accumulates deflections and 50/50 balls. He has upside as an offensive player, but make no mistake, his ability to attack the basket and finish well above the rim is his calling card.

6'2' 2021 Josh Beadle
Cardinal Newman School

Beadle is a name that people know, however his game (more like his confidence) has taken another step. Throughout the event, Beadle was attacking the basket with a purpose. He is a great athlete and has an aggressive handle from the wing. Beadle is continuing to grow in size, it will be interesting how big he gets. He has ability as a top 100 type prospect.

6'9' 2018 Sadarius Bowser
Gaffney High School

Bowser has all the physical tools. He has great size and has a strong frame. Bowser is incredibly explosive as a player with great length. In fact, during the max vert testing, Bowser's head touched the bottom run and he got his forearm to the top rung. He showed ability on the block with go-to jump hook and touch. Already carrying 7-8 D1 offers, Bowser's upside is huge and should be looked at by mid major programs across the region.

6'5' 2018 Foster Bridges
Landrum High School

People know about Bridges, his brother is a college player and he has had some hype behind him in previous years. Well Bridges has taken a step, not only with his confidence but also in his skill set. Standing at 6'5' Bridges is a dead-eye shooter. He works great off the ball and gets his shot off quick, with good footwork. He has taken the step to be a scholarship player and one that D1 schools should be looking at closely.
