In the state of North Carolina, you are probably familiar with the name Asa White.  He is a 6'8 2022 prospect from Garner high school and has been playing with Garner Road 3SSB 2022 this summer.

White has been regarded as one of the top talents in his class but he may have had his best stretch of games at the Summer Havoc in Rock Hill this past weekend.  White was consistently scoring all around the court, being an inside threat with his length and quickness but also being able to step out and knock down the mid-range shot.

White averaged around 20 points per game in three games at the Summer Havoc.

He showed his full potential on the court.  White's versatility, size, and mobility on the floor creates a ton of mismatches. He has a long frame and showed nice feel and mobility around the rim offensively, but also continuing to be a forward that contests shots on the defensive end.

And he continues to get better, as he has really been focusing on his ball-handling and agility; it was noticeable in Rock Hill.

White currently holds offer from Elon, but has been hearing from schools like NC State, Clemson, NC Central, Georgia State, Wake Forest, UNCW, Western Carolina, Winthrop, and Boston College.' When speaking to White, he mentioned State and Central have been the most recent schools to get in contact with him.

'NC Central sent me a lot of pictures and told me that I had a good game,' he said.  'NC State called me a couple of times and asked me what have I been doing to keep my focus on basketball and asked about my family.'

White was impressive and if we continue to see that type of production, along with his continuing development as a player, it is safe to say that more schools will be joining and expressing bigger interest his way.
