2022 Nygie Stroman (RDC Lakers 17U)

Stroman was a player that caught my eye this morning. The 6'5 strong, athletic forward displayed the versatility he has in his offensive game. He poured in a smooth 20 points in this morning’s game and he did so in a variety of ways. Using his strong body to dominate the glass on both ends and converting on easy putback opportunities. What impressed me the most with Stroman's game was his consistent ability to knock down the open jump shot. He converted on numerous three-point attempts and proved that he has been working on and developing his game these past couple of months!

2023 DyQuavion Short (Garner Road 16U 3SSB Davis)

Short put on an impressive scoring clinic this morning in a closely contested matchup between a guard-heavy York County Legends team. He showed out, displaying his complete scoring reptuare and effectively finishing at the rim through contact. Short showed his craftiness inside the paint and did so by consistently getting downhill quickly and making plays for himself or his open teammates.

2023 Donavan Kirk (York County Legends 16U)

Kirk is one of the most effective guards at scoring the basketball. The more I tend to watch Kirk play, I always leave impressed at the crafty array of moves he effectively uses time and time again. Kirk continues to ignite his scoring outburst by breaking his defenders down and getting to the rim and finishing. He continues to prove his ability to not only make plays for himself but be unselfish enough o find his open teammates for jump shots too.

2023 Xander Booker (Garner Road -' Bryant 16U)

Booker is a player whose potential is through the roof because of the intensity he plays every possession with. The physical, lengthy forward plays the game extremely hard which allows him to leave his imprint on a little bit of everything throughout a game. Dominant on the glass, and his offensive game continues to grow with his perimeter abilities still developing. A capable three-point shooter, but is effective finishing inside and making winning plays for his team.

2023 Cornelius Alston (Garner Road – Bryant 16U)

Alston plays the game with great pace at the point guard position. The shifty, High IQ guard was impressive with his natural playmaking ability this morning, living on paint touches and showed he always is capable of making the correct plays. Alston displayed great touch inside with his ability to finish over taller defenders and the ability to stop on a dime and make a pull-up jumper. Alston is a guard to watch this weekend as he continues to impress people with his leadership and skill at the PG.
