The talent runs deep in the state of North Carolina, and that looks to continue in the Class of 2025 as players are starting to garner more attention.  One interesting forward to watch out for is 6'8 Chris Eagan, one that we have found intriguing but one that has also developed and added more to his game.

We spotlighted him not long ago in an article here: https://phenomhoopreport.com/prospect-to-know-67-25-chris-eagan-charlotte-catholic-team-curry/

Eagan has grown and developed as a prospect, but there is also even more room for development which makes him intriguing.  Schools should be taking notice, and a few have already done so.  Eagan has earned two early offers from Manhattan and Presbyterian, as we spoke to him about the latest.

Phenom: How did everything go this summer for you' What were you able to take away from it, how did it help your game overall, and what was it like playing with the talent around you again'
Eagan: There is always more to learn and work on in this game. This summer wasn't any different.  I was able to contribute in several ways, defensively and offensively, and had great runs in Georgia and both Carolina's. I've been working for the last few seasons on impacting the game in ways that don't require the ball in my hands.  I think it has really rounded out my game. Regarding talent, I am lucky enough to have had talent around me for the last few years on all the teams I've been a part of.

Phenom: What are you hoping to show and lead more this season at Charlotte Catholic, now being one of the go-to players'
Eagan: I'm hoping to show that I have more to offer than playing with my back to the rim.  I'm working on building my speed and agility so that I can consistently defend 2, 3, 4, and 5 positions. I'm also continuing to focus on explosiveness so that I can play above the rim more and more. I've also learned quite a bit about leading from the upperclassmen I've played with over the last two years, and I look forward to helping support our younger guys as I was supported.

Phenom: You have now earned offers from Manhattan and Presbyterian. What are your thoughts on your overall recruitment and those two programs'
Eagan: I'm excited but focused on what I need to work on.  I have lots I want to improve on before I head off to college. Manhattan College is exciting because they have a strong coaching staff for forwards.  They are playing Kansas this year and I can't wait to watch that game. Really enjoyed the Presbyterian college camp and was excited to get the offer! I connected with the entire coaching staff, and it was a welcoming experience.

Phenom: What other schools have been showing interest your way but have yet to offer'
Eagan: Texas A&M, Marshall, App State, Winthrop, VMI, Wofford, Liberty, JMU and Air Force have all shown interest.  I've also had some great conversations with a few D2 schools like Emory and Henry and USC Aiken.
