Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the broiling Piedmont! The Great One is here to give you his superlatives from last weekend’s Phenom Summer Nationals. There were many teams and many good players that The Sadster watched and the following list is what he considered the creme de la creme of who he saw. First, he will give a couple of rare Sad Sam Salutes to three teams. The NC Spartans program is always nice to watch as they are well-coached and have such good ball movement. The Harrisburg Hornets played with inspiration in a comeback against Combine Respass. They fell short but never quit! Finally, the Triad Elite may not have size but they are like ants at a picnic on defense!
SAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLUUUUTE!
We now move on to a list of the top players and the high schools they attend seen by The Sad One. This is not a ranking of players as they are listed in random order….. To the players!!!!!
