Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the sunny and warm piedmont. The Great One is here to wrap up this season with his state finals recap and release his yearly I-MECK 4A superlatives. The Sadster rolled to a 4-1 record on Championship Saturday, losing only the 4A contest as Millbrook stunned Ardrey Kell in OT. Silas Demary absolutely refused to lose as he willed the Wildcats to a 2 point victory over the Knights. He scored a bonus win as the Vance girls notched back-to-back titles. Wilson Prep took honors in 1A, taking out Lincoln Charter. The 2A saw juggernaut Farmville Central steamroll their way to a ring, once again posting a 113 spot. The 3A saw first time championship team Weddington get past upset minded Northwood. The Sad One finished with a 47-27 mark, definitely a forgettable year. However, it will only motivate The Great One will return to reclaim the pinnacle of prognosticating perfection next season. The ol cubic zirconia ball (cant afford crystal) will undergo an overhaul and be primed and ready for action when the leaves are changing later this year. Now, we will look at his yearly superlatives in the I-MECK 4A. Due to the brevity of the season, the Sadster will not do any report cards this season. There will also be no coveted Hot Dog of the Year award due to most concessions being closed this season. To the All-Conference team!!!!!!
