Sacha Killeya-Jones has been a familiar face around Phenom Hoops for quite some time. Killeya-Jones has been participating in Phenom Hoops events for the better part of the past 4 years. He most recently participated in the Virginia Top 80 back in March.

In fact, it was after his performance in the Spring of 2014 NC Phenom 150 camp that propelled Killeya-Jones into being considered a consensus Top 100 prospect. He the proceeded to see a huge boost in recruitment with his play for Team Felton on the Under Armour Circuit.

At the time of the 2015 Virginia Top 80, Killeya-Jones had been committed to Virginia since New Year's Day and was one of four commits for the Cavaliers in the 2016 class. But now, Killeya-Jones has reopened his recruiting and taking a deeper look into programs before he makes his final decision.

“Yes, I reopened my commitment,” said Killeya-Jones to 247Sports. “I’m still very interested in UVa, just want to make sure it’s the right fit.”

Killeya-Jones is a long and athletic power forward, ranked in the top 100 by many sites and comes in No. 2 by Phenom Hoops Report in the 2016 Virginia Top 40 rankings. He is certainly a high-caliber player and has been developing his game over the past year to back up his ranking.

Here is what was said by Phenom Hoops Report when he competed at the Virginia Top 80.

Sacha is a lengthy player with the ability to swat shots all over the floor and has a gifted offensive skill set that made him a tough matchup for every big at the camp. We were surprised to see the expansion of his offensive game after watching him knock down a couple of 3-point shots and step back jumpers.

Sacha is a future ACC player for a reason. He possesses skills that are unordinary for a man of his size and makes himself known every time he steps foot on the court. After gaining almost 20 pounds so far this season, Sacha will be an absolute problem for any player that steps foot in his way.

It seems that Killeya-Jones will be taking a closer look at programs, as he did commit early in his recruitment. As he mentioned, Virginia could certainly be the place he ends up down the road and will play a big factor in his recruitment. However, there could be other programs he wants to take a look at before.

As of right now, he holds offers from Charlotte, East Carolina, Houston Baptist, Loyola (MD), Middle Tennessee State, Notre Dame, Old Dominion, Rice, Richmond, Virginia, VCU, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. He has also received interest from some big time programs like North Carolina and Duke, who haven't offered him yet.
