The Phenom Middle School Elite Camp was an incredible overall event and a chance for us at Phenom Hoops to get a glimpse of the future here around the region. We want to continue to excitement and coverage, as we will be highlighting several players along with all evaluations being posted here on the Phenom Hoops website.
As far as the last name goes, Phenom Hoops is quite familiar with the family but we are eager to see how 2029 6’2 Rowen Fitzgibbons continues to develop and what he ultimately will become as a prospect. He is a long, wiry guard who has a balanced skillset, as he has a really strong feel to the game at his age. Fitzgibbons is able to make plays off the bounce, create and move well without the ball, attack and finish strong, and be an effective shotmaker from multiple levels on the floor. You have to love the balance he brings with his offensive game, as he displays a natural feel for a prospect at his age. Outside his scoring ability though, he plays within the offense, making unselfish plays, competing on both ends, and finding other ways to make his impact felt on the court. He has consistently shown that he can produce on the court, and we are eager to see how he continues to develop his game.
What Was Said:
“It’s clear that 6’2 ‘29 Rowen Fitzgibbons (Mount Airy) is starting to physically develop. Wiry guard with a well-rounded skillset and solid defensive instincts. Visibly grown since last viewing. Crafty penetrator and finisher. Capable perimeter shooter.”
