Already ranked No. 7 in the state of North Carolina by Phenom Hoops, 2023 6'5 Jakwon Moore had a tremendous weekend at the Phenom Grassroots TOC and it seemed to only solidify his ranking as one of the top prospects in the class and a fast-rising one nationally.

With multiple viewings over the years of Moore's game, one can instantly see the development and growth in his game he has had over the last year or so.  He brings a ton of versatility to the court with his ability to defend, his size and athleticism offensively, and how he can stuff a stat sheet.  But one can also see he has only continued to develop his overall feel and his outside game, really making him a lethal weapon.

Moore gave everyone a glimpse of his game in Rock Hill with Team Loaded at the Phenom Grassroots TOC.  It was maybe most evident with his 28-point performance vs. CP3, simply putting on a show.  And with his play over the weekend, he has now added two new high-major offers to his list.

It wasn't long ago when he added his first high-major offer from Virginia Tech, as he spoke with assistant coach Christian Webster when he heard about the offer.  'I was really excited and they said that they wanted to make our relationship a lot better, so it has been really good.'

When speaking to Moore at the event, he also mentioned he had heard from Wake Forest a little and it seemed that the staff liked what they had seen and heard, as they quickly jumped on board with an offer as well as Texas A&M.

Moore had also earned offers from Hofstra and Florida International when he part of the 2022 class and he mentioned that they have communicated a little with him still.

But there is no doubt about it, Moore is quickly on the rise as one of the premier talents in North Carolina and when you watch him, it is easy to see why.
