2023 Adam Hege (Surry Central)
If you're looking for the textbook example of a point guard, you should see the way Adam plays the position. He was a brilliant game manager that played a major catalyst in orchestrating everything they did and didn't even have to score to leave his impact. He handled the pressure, scrappily defended, and consistently set up the offense for proper looks. Simply put, he makes his teammates better and the offense run more efficiently while leading by example and playing hard.

2024 Bryce James (Mt. Tabor)
Refreshing to see a guy like Bryce put it all out there and lay his principles in his defense. He beat you to the spots with elite lateral speed, didn't reach, and downright refused to let screens create separation between him and his matchup. Offensively, he found nice opportunities in multiple ways as a spot-up shooter or soft touch driver. When you look at his big in David Peral, and a backcourt pairing him with the Peterkin brothers, Bryce looks primed to be a key piece to help lead and tie everything together.

2025 Jeremiah Davis (Walkertown)
Continuing on the trend of rewarding defense, Jeremiah by far had the most infectious energy of the day and used it to fly around like a ball hawk. He has a knack for timing steals, whether jumping passes or snaring traps, and can single-handedly turn the tides of a game in just a few possessions. He's got good young length to go with his athleticism and motor, and will be making a killing in transition with his speed, inherent gift in turning guys over, and ability to rise up and finish at the rim.

2023 Jordan Davis (East Surry)
It's always good to see a player in multiple settings, and the trait Jordan consistently displays is the ability and willingness to make winning plays. Given his high-level scoring abilities that can get going real quick, he's shown to care more about making the right play for what's best for the team. He's a high IQ guard that sees the floor, can play on or off the ball, and has good positional size to take advantage of matchups and make plays. Coming off his first offer from Guilford, I expect more on the way as he leads and does a bit of everything for the Cardinals this year.

2023 Jeffrey Clark (New Garden)
A new name that has certainly flown under the radar, I'm very intrigued by all the attributes Jeffrey shows and the potential of piecing them all together. He's got great versatility with his long frame, mobility, and finishing skillset. That goes on both ends because he can switch out on the perimeter or clean up possessions snagging boards. Along with that, he seems to have a willingness to compete and work for the team. He's one of those guys that will quietly have a lot of big games and find success in any setting because he does the little things and finds easy buckets off running the floor or following shots for putbacks.
