2027 Jazir McGee (WBC Elite)
The simplest answer is the best answer and Jazir makes the game very easy with his ability to get to the basket. His first step is explosive, he poses a difficult matchup due to his size and length as a young guard, and he has great focus with coordination to finish everything around the basket no matter the contact. He showed capability from outside as a shooter, but it’s clear he’s a terror getting downhill and can get it rolling at any time.
2027 Isaiah Palacios (Next Level Elite)
Very intrigued by his maturity as a leader and competitor in Isaiah, he’s overwhelmingly physical and can handle the responsibilities of the primary defensive assignment while posing a serious threat offensively. He made play after play with his motor and muscle and was also able to make a living at the FT line due to his patience on the attack, utilization of his body to absorb contact, and balance in going off two to finish with both hands.
2026 Zamarius Gladden (Carolina Charge)
Each viewing of this Carolina Charge team only further stamps their impression of relentless pressure and scrappy, competitive fire. Zamarius is a big reason for that, being a catalyst that simply has no off switch and isn’t backing down from anyone as he attacks the basket. He takes the physical hits that come with this style of play and keeps rolling, and dares opponents to try and match him offensively as a tenacious full-court defender.
2026 Ayden Johnson (Big Shots Elite)
You couldn’t have asked for more from the 5 man grouping Coach Whit brought down to Rock Hill, and despite being the smallest guy on the floor Ayden has always found ways to leave a big impact. He’s a well-rounded and nicely paced lead guard that you can pair with any assemblage of teammates due to his efficient shooting and playmaking sense in sharing the wealth. He does a great job of protecting the ball to score when attacking bigger guys and has never wavered in his crafty slashing to carve out driving lanes to sneak into the paint.
