One of the top prospects in the 2021 North Carolina class, D’Marco Dunn continues to catch the attention of college programs around the country and his offer list should only expand.

Dunn earned his first offer from UTEP and the list continued to grow, as schools like East Carolina, VCU, UC Riverside, North Carolina A&T, and Wichita State all joined the party. But perhaps his biggest offer to date is when he received one from Coach Stackhouse and Vanderbilt back in February, one that kind of took him by surprise at the time.

'When I did get the offer, I was really excited but also shocked,' he told Phenom Hoops. 'You know, I expected to receive those offers like that just because that is what I set out to do but to have it happen at that moment was eye-opening. To me, it meant staying ready. I know those are the offers people like me want, so staying ready and being hungry is important.'

Dunn hasn't had a chance to visit Vanderbilt yet but he did get a chance to learn more about East Carolina and VCU, both taking unofficial visits earlier in the year.

'I liked seeing the arenas, just getting a feel for their environment, especially on game days. It was really nice seeing their facilities too as well as their coaching staff.'

With Dunn's talent and ability, it is just a matter of time for more offers to come his way.  Right now, schools like Wake Forest, Clemson, USF, and Houston have their eyes on Dunn, talking to him how he could fit or what his role would be with their program.  Mainly though, they are just looking to build a relationship with him.

It looks to be only the start for this young man, as more programs will look to put their name in the bucket.
