Juwan Gary is a name that high major college coaches need to get to know quickly. Many in his region have already been in to see him, however before long his recruitment will become one that takes on a national feel.
Like with most prospects in our region, our first time putting eyes on Gary came as he showed up to our NC Junior Phenom camp, the fall heading into his 8th grade year. At that time, not many people had heard of Gary outside of Columbia. After stealing the show that day, Gary quickly leapt onto the radar.
Now, Gary is ranked among the nation’s top players in his class. This should sustain and the college offers should start flowing in. Gary is a big wing who has great length to mix with his explosion and touch to mix with his unlimited confidence and deep range.
Gary has been a regular at area basketball games, including multiple visits to University of South Carolina, Clemson, and NC State. Gary takes defense personal and rebounds his position with a high motor and length.
Gary will start off this summer playing at the Spring Hoops Fest LIVE on April 16-17 in Greensboro. His Team United 15U team, one of the best in the country, will play up in the 17U age group. With this kind of exposure and Gary’s seemingly unlimited potential, his list of offers could start at this event.
