We continue to shed more light throughout the country, as we head up to Maryland to check in on 2025 6’4 William Harper from Gonzaga. Harper is one that has been attracting the attention of college programs early on, as he has added several D1 offers over the last few months and his recruitment could only continue to rise when college coaches can reach out to 2025 prospects.
Phenom Hoops learns more about his game and how he likes to operate on the court, while also the latest in his recruitment.
Learn more about his game:
“I would best describe my game as versatile. I feel like I can shoot pretty well, defend, handle the ball, and make the right pass or play. I also think I can see the floor well and can run an offense. I’m getting shots up daily to improve my 3-point shot percentage, and I am always working on improving my ball handling.”
Latest in his recruitment:
It is still early, but the 6’4 prospect has now picked up his fifth offer. His latest offer came from Loyola-Maryland as they join NJIT, Stony Brook, American, and George Mason.
“I was fortunate to just pick up Loyola Maryland, which is my fifth D1 offer,” Harper said. “I feel like my recruitment is really just getting started and I am excited to see who will be communicating with me because coaches can contact me directly soon.”
What are his thoughts on the schools that have offered early on' “I value that they saw the potential early and I can get a feeling for who is truly invested in my development.”
With five offers on the table, Harper also mentioned that several other coaches have reached out about him with his coaches and that he will know more in the next few weeks.
