Phenom Hoops continues their way around the country to talk to players and to get the latest in their recruitment. We recently spoke with 2024 6’5 T.O. Barrett from Team Griffin and Edmond North HS in Oklahoma. He has seen an uptick in his recruitment, landing some new offers and he spoke with Patrick O’Brien about all the latest. Check out his thoughts and who else has been showing interest

Offers: Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Montana, SE Missouri State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Oral Roberts

Phenom: Recruiting has picked up for you as of late, picking up some new offers in the last week. Two of them were from Oklahoma and Missouri. What are your thoughts on them and what did the staff have to say when they offered'
Barrett: They were great. They were some big-time offers. Both coaches loved my game, they just loved the way I played on both sides of the floor like with a chip on my shoulder and that I'm a leader.

Phenom: What kind of relationship have you been able to build with them or are they newer with you'
Barret: Oklahoma is newer, but Missouri has reached out a few times. Both programs are building a relationship with me.

Phenom: You also received an offer recently from Oral Roberts. Thoughts on that program and your relationship'
Barrett: They really liked my game and the way I played it, also that I was a great leader. It has been good (when speaking about their relationship).

Phenom: Has any school really been making you a strong priority early on'
Barrett: Missouri has reached out before.

Phenom: What other schools have been showing interest your way'
Barrett: Georgetown, Louisville, SMU, and Loyola-Chicago.

Phenom: Have any visits planned or have you been able to make any visits'
Barrett: Only visit I've been on is Oklahoma State.  It was good; got to watch practice, tour the campus, arena, and locker room.

Phenom: Any schools you would like to visit in the future'
Barrett: Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tulsa.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game'
Barrett: I'm a leader and I'm good on both sides of the floor; most players only play offense.
