A player that had announced his commitment to a school is back on the market and schools from around the country are looking at what he brings to the court.

2021 Dre Watson from Bull City Prep, had announced his commitment to East Carolina a few months back but then announced that he was reopening his recruitment back up.

Now, Phenom Hoops reached out to Watson to learn the latest of what has been going on and how the year has gone so far at Bull City Prep.' Currently, he holds offers from East Carolina still, Marshall, Tennessee State, Murray State, Arkansas, Southern, and Georgia State but is receiving interest from other schools as well.

'It has been really good to be in a place where you can be yourself and grow on and off the court,' Watson told Phenom Hoops about his time so far at Bull City Prep.  As far as his recruitment goes, he would say that has been going well also.  Southern University is the latest program to offer but it seems that other schools are showing interest in the athletic forward.

When speaking to the coaching staff at Bull City, schools like Maryland, Georgia Southern, Tulsa, Cincinnati, Georgia, and a few others have all expressed interest his way.'

'I've been talking to a lot of different coaches, just trying to find the best fit for me,' Watson told Phenom.

East Carolina, the program he was once committed to, still remains in the big picture and remain high on his list. 'They are still one of my top options I talk to on the daily.' He would also say that Cincinnati and Maryland are the top schools showing the most interest as well.

Watson is an absolute freak on the court, with a unique blend of athleticism, bounce, and skill on the court.  Holding multiple offers already, it will be interesting to see who else gets involved in his recruitment.

But for right now, Watson is looking for a program that gives him a great fit.

'I'm looking for a program that is going to put me in the position to play at the highest level.'
