2025 Michael Phillips – Marquette
Phillips was part of the Class of 2026 but then announced not only that he would be moving into the Class of 2025 but would also be committing to Marquette. Phillips is a fast-rising prospect with a ton of potential still left in his game. He continues to add more and develop his overall feel, but we are talking about a 6’7/6’8 prospect that has impressive athleticism, can score at the rim and from the perimeter, and brings a presence defensively. Phillips has quickly found his way into a Top 100 ranking by national outlets.
2025 Bryce Slay – Marshall
Slay had a tremendous season last year in helping lead the way for Carmel Christian, which attracted the eyes of many college coaches. In the end, he followed the family footsteps and committed to Marshall, giving the Thundering Herd a big-time scorer that can fill it up quickly. Slay plays with a ton of confidence in his ability to knock down shots as well as create off the bounce, and he will be counted on to do just that this season at Carmel.
2025 Ace Flagg – Maine
The most recent commitment here in North Carolina is 2025 Ace Flagg, who has joined Greensboro Day this upcoming season and announced his commitment to Maine. Flagg has size and a strong skill set that should help the Bengals in a big way, as he can score inside and out. He plays hard and can create mismatches with his play. Flagg will have a chance to be part of something special at GDS and also play back home at Maine in the future.
