The coaching staff has been doing an excellent job in promoting their players this season and providing updates after each game about their players. It is why it has caught our attention the production and success their players have been having so far (a later article from Phenom will discuss more).
But it shed some light on 2021 Vante Hutcherson, an unsigned senior that has been the definition of production so far. Racking up double-double’s this season, Hutcherson has been averaging 13.4 points and 13.8 rebounds per game, including seven straight double-doubles. And with his activity down low, it certainly corelates to wins for Wayne Country Day, with each of those double-doubles helping secure a win (7-1 overall).
He has already recorded two games in which he was an absolute beast on the boards, securing 19 or 20 boards, and also getting on the offensive boards as well. Hutcherson has been the anchor down low this season and it doesn’t look like he is stopping any time soon. Check out some of his junior highlights and make sure you start tracking more of his game.
