School: Chatham Charter
Division: 1A
Conference: 1A Conference 13

Phenom Hoops wants to share the successes of all players and teams around the state of North Carolina because there is just a ton of talent all throughout. We continue to shed light on players but fans need to take notice of teams that are also finding success this season.

We first look at the 1A Division, heading to the 1A Conference 13 where Chatham Charter is putting together a strong season so far. Right now, the Knights sit at 13-1 on the season, are undefeated at home and their only loss so far came on the road by one point. Other than that, Chatham Charter has been pretty dominant this year. The Knights are averaging 64 points per game offensively and have only been giving up around 42 points per game, as their margin of victory this season is sitting at 22 points.

What makes this team very interesting is the balance and experience that this team has, as they don’t have a senior on the team and could see this entire team return next year (so make sure to watch out).  2023 Adam Harvey leads the way, filling up the stat sheet so far this season.  The junior, according to MaxPreps, is averaging 15.6ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.1apg, and 2.7spg, while his junior teammate, Aamir Mapp, isn’t far behind averaging 12.2ppg.  Then they have two freshmen that are stepping up early, as 2025 Beau Harvey has been strong to start his high school career, averaging 10.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.3apg, and 3.0spg, while 2025 Brennen Oldham is nearly averaging a double-double with 9.3ppg and 7.4rpg.

The Knights certainly have positioned themselves early in the conference with an impressive start and Chatham Charter should certainly be a team to take notice for the rest of the season.
