Queens has been a staple here in North Carolina, and they have certainly proven themselves in a big way. Now a Division I program and coming off a successful season in which they finished 18-15 overall, the staff is looking to continue their success with a few key in-state recruits.

The Royals have two terrific incoming recruits that are part of the 2023 recruiting class that should really set the tone in the coming years for the program.  2023 Bryce Cash and now 2023 Kobe George are two in-state prospects that should be the building blocks for the future; which is why we are going to highlight more of what each one can bring and how key these commitments are for the program.

Overall, these two players can and should set the tone… Both Cash and George bring leadership, toughness, and IQ to the table.  Both really play hard and leave it all out on the court, and they both can bring a presence on both ends of the court.

Cash is a strong, physical prospect that brings consistency, is incredibly tough when he is getting downhill, finishing through contact, and getting to the rim with his athleticism. But he also has shown more of his outside presence, along with being a game-changer defensively on the floor. George is simply a leader on the court; he does a great job in controlling the game and being the spoon that stirs the pot. He excels in using his strong frame and getting downhill, but also capable of being a threat from the outside. But overall, he is that strong, high-IQ guard that brings a team mentality to the court.

Queens is a program that has made its presence known and continues to do a great job in recognizing talent around North Carolina and in the region. This is why their success should only continue, and these two will be critical pieces in doing so.
