This past weekend at the Phenom 828 Showcase, we had another tremendous opportunity to watch a very interesting group with Queens Grant and they didn’t disappoint with an impressive 62-36 win over East Rutherford. 2028 Za’Miya Bynum has been off the charts this season and deservingly so gets a ton of attention. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t more talent to be found on this roster, as we bring you two more names to check out this season.

2026 5’5 Misa Garris

Garris is part of the two-headed monster that Queens Grant brings to the table with Bynum when it comes to guard play. Garris is one though that is able to flourish in an array of areas, whether it is being a strong creator and forcing the action as well as be a defensive presence.  At the Phenom 828 Showcase, Garris was an absolute pest defensive in creating steals and turning it into offense. But she continues to flourish with her ability to create and get to her spots, get inside the defense and force the action, create fouls consistently, and score from a variety of levels. She is a very tough and gritty guard.

2026 6’0 Casey Smith

Smith is another prospect to keep an eye on for Queens Grant, as she brings the size and ability to control the paint; she showed that this weekend at the Phenom 828 Showcase. There is still room for growth and development, but she was able to find ways to bring production offensively in finishing around the basket with touch. But her defensive presence was fun to watch, racking up 15 total blocks and being a force on the boards as well. She ended the day with an impressive 12 points, 15 blocks, and 7 rebounds for her team, clearly putting her name more on our radar.
