The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts. With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.
That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend. Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Team: Team Loaded NC 2026
Bradley Floyd – 2026/ 6’1
Coach’s Thoughts: Floyd has tremendous length, a sizzling mid-range game, and incredible flexibility around the rim. He can also finish with both his left and the right hand. He is a good rebounder who is extremely quick off the floor. Floyd can play every position on the floor. He enjoys banging with the big kids in paint and shooting over the guards on the perimeter.
Zaiyir Phillips – 2027/ 5’9
Coach’s Thoughts: Phillips is extremely quick and strong. He is a great finisher. He has eye popping handles. His left-handed game is reminiscent of Kenny Anderson. Phillips is an elite scorer, he can score quick and in bunches. He has an extremely high battery that makes him difficult to guard.
Zamarius Gladden – 2026/ 5’9
Coach’s Thoughts: Gladden is an amazing athlete. He plays tenacious defense. His on the ball defense reminds you of the Glove, Gary Payton. He gives unbelievable effort. He is consistently the loudest kid on the court. He can get into the paint with ease. He is a coach’s dream, a straight DOG.
Kendall Southern – 2026/ 5’8
Coach’s Thoughts: -Southern is a floor general. He has a good jump shot, a sneaky floater, great handles, and outstanding court vision. He can drive both right and left. He is also a very impressive on the ball defender. He is a selfless player, a great teammate, and coach’s player.
Dylan Bradley – 2026/ 5’10
Coach’s Thoughts: -Bradley has great range. He has a quick and consistent jump shot. He shoots the 3 ball at a high percentage. He has strong handles. Bradley is a quarterback on the court. He communicates loud and clear to his teammates. Bradley is very coachable, he loves the game, and his teammates.
Ian Tomlinson – 2026/ 5’10
Coach’s Thoughts: Tomlinson is a very strong player. He bullies his way into the lane off the dribble. He is extremely crafty when it comes to getting deep into the paint. He is an old school defender that does a great job of using his body to control the offensive player.
Jamyr Coleman – 2026/ 5’6
Coach’s Thoughts: Coleman has quick feet and great lateral movement. He has very strong handles and a good jump shot. He plays tough on the ball defense and he also does a great job playing the passing lanes. Coleman is extremely confident in his game and he has a high basketball IQ.
Darius Whitner – 2026/ 5’9
Coach’s Thoughts: Whitner is a sharp shooter with good range. He has good footwork and a quick release. He does a good job playing in space and finding holes in the defense. He is a tough kid that plays hard nose defense.
