The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts.  With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.

That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend.  Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Check out a few names below for each team.

Team: Team BOND 16u

Lamonte Cousar – 2023/6’7
What has been said: He's a big, strong, mobile forward prospect with an intriguing skillset and nice offensive versatility. Cousar showed the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands or overwhelm opponents with his motor around the basket. He's a great rebounder with the tools to push transition play and finish strong or set up others.

CJ Vaughn – 2023/ 6’1
What has been said: He's a smart, tough, athletic guard prospect with quickness, craftiness, and the ability to effectively apply scoring pressure from multiple levels. Vaughn does an excellent job of breaking down his assignment, getting downhill, attacking the basket, and finishing strong or setting up open teammates. He's great in transition, displays the necessary playmaking instincts to operate from either guard position, and consistently outworks opponents defensively.

Julius Reese – 2023/ 6’4
What has been said: Reese has a tremendous frame already for someone in the 2023 class. Strong built and sturdy, he uses that well when he gets downhill and gets to the rim, embracing contact and finishing. Reese is going to only get better overall as a player, as he continues to put in the work with his shot and more.

Connor Lane – 2023/ 6’3
What has been said: He's a young, wiry wing/forward prospect with an advanced skillset and overall feel for the game. Lane shot the ball exceptionally well from the perimeter while also displaying his ability to attack the basket and finish strong through contact. He moves very well without the ball and understands how to make the extra pass whenever possible. Lane is quite mature and already showcases a lot of leadership qualities.
