The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts. With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.
That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend. Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Jordan Appling – 2024
Coach’s Thoughts: High IQ PG with a great feel for the game. Can score at all 3 levels. A very respectful kid who anyone would love to coach.
Jordan Patton – 2024
Coach’s Thoughts: Tough, Hardworking forward that can get it done from all over the court. Very strong rebounder and his ability to handle the ball makes him a tough matchup.
Markeist Houston – 2024
Coach’s Thoughts: Combo guard. Great ball handler that can get to the rack at will. Great in the pick and roll. Lock up defender and an all-around athlete.
Bobby Erwin Jr. – 2024
Coach’s Thoughts: Tough Combo guard who will defend 94ft. Strong ball-handler with a high IQ. He can score at all 3 levels and plays extremely hard.
