The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts.  With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.

That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend.  Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Check out a few names below for each team.

Team: Carolina Riptide 2022

Trey Ramsey – 6’8/ 2022
Coach’s Thoughts: Trey is a coach’s dream. He possesses low post skills offensively, like Kevin Mchale but can shoot the three with the best of the wings in the 2022 class in North Carolina. Great defender in the post, but has the agility to step out and guard multiple positions. Conference POY

Davis Wagner – 6’5/ 2022
Coach’s Thoughts: Davis is a do-it-all wing. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions, blocks shots, and rebounds at a high rate. He also is a great three-point shooter from the wing. His toughness sets him apart as does his mentality to take big shots in big moments.

Evan Presnell – 6’0/ 2022
Coach’s Thoughts: Evan can run the point effectively, or be a great scorer, and he is fine with either. He is a tough-nosed guard with a high basketball IQ and can score the basketball. He just wants to win. An unselfish communicator that makes everyone better.

Jackson Hawkins – 6’4/ 2022
Coach’s Thoughts: Hawk looks like a linebacker but plays with great skill and energy. He adds toughness and really good range from three. If there is a loose ball, chances are Hawk gets it. Another winner on this Riptide team. I’d go to battle with him anytime.
