The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts. With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.
That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend. Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

#0 Darren Lloyd- 2023/5'8' G
Coach’s Thoughts: Plays the game with high intensity! Very high basketball IQ. He can and will score the ball WELL on all 3 levels. He is an excellent on-ball defender from one end to the other!
#1 Zandae Butler-2023/6'2 PG
Coach’s Thoughts: Zandae is a great combo guard that rebounds the ball well but is almost unstoppable when going downhill with the ball in his hand! Very high IQ can definitely play many passes ahead of the game. He was First-team All-Region Wilson High the season.
#2 Orlando Hudson-2023/5'11' G
Coach’s Thoughts: Deuce really knows how to get to his spots on the court and can shoot the ball WELL at a high percentage on all 3 levels. Excellent IQ as well as a great on-ball defender! He has made the All-Region Team as a Freshman and Sophomore for Darlington High.
#23 Dominick Jones-6'3' G
Coach’s Thoughts: Dominick is the true definition for LOCKDOWN DEFENDER. he is lengthy and defends 1-5 positions well! Offensively he knows how to get to the rim and finish well! He does majorly of the dirty work and doesn't look for the credit! Must watch to understand!
