Some young names that impressed our scouts analyst at the Phenom QC Showcase

Cyncier Harris 5’8 2021 Team United (Davidson Day)

Best overall player in U14 tournament. Cyncier a lead guard that controls the tempo on both sides of the ball with his pace and decision-making. He’s definite three-level scorer with deep range and phenomenal finishing ability; he has a tight handle and uses it to blow by defenders when getting into the paint. He is also a lethal shooter with extremely deep range; he is crafty and has the ability to create shots for himself and others quite well. This kid will be a high major prospect one day.

Omazeon Tinsley 5’6 2021 (A.R. Rucker Middle)

Played with Cyncier Harris in the back court of Team United which was the best backcourt in the tournament. The feed off each other very well. Omazeon is a change of past guard that can play in transition or in the triple threat. He is a three level score that can play with and with-out the ball in his hands. He made many teams pay if they did close out on him. He has a beautiful stroke and a very high IQ. The game is about which team has the most offensive possessions and definitely gives you a lots of them.

John Butler 6’9 2021 Hill Crest Middle

Butler has so much potential it’s not even funny. Player is from South Carolina. He has a 7’2 wingspan that allows him to block shots. He actually literally posted seven blocked shots in the first half of one of his games. He can rebound inside and outside of his position and runs the floor like a deer. On offense side Butler like stretch four. He has extensive range on his jumper he can square up and make post defenders pay if they can’t get out to the three point line to guard him. A lot of college coaches will be knocking on the door of this kids very soon.

Tony Waters II (John Motley Moorehead Stem Academy)

One of the best two way players in camp. This kid came up big in the championship game with his on ball defense. In the last two minutes of the game he locked up whoever he was guarding. Waters is the second coming of the “Glove” a nickname given to Gary Payton because of his defense. He is very skilled and makes good decisions in the open floor. He makes everyone on the floor better. Waters is a born leader his play makes everyone elevate their play round him.

Janyle Pittman 5’10 2021 (A. R. Rucker Middle)

Pittman is a superior athlete. He already has a high school ready body He has a knack for rebounding; dominated the offensive and defensive boards. He plays excellent help side defense. He came out of know where a pint a couple of shots to the backboard. Does so many things to change the game and brings a lot of energy when he’s on the floor. Made plays all over floor and stepped up when his team need him the most.

Miles Versa 5’9

If you a coach that likes guys that will give you buckets this is your guy! Net the highest score in the U14 tournament score a tournament high 27 points in the championship game against Team Charlotte. Miles is never in a hurry. He seems to always take good shots and not afraid of making the extra pass for a better shot. He’s good in the open floor attack the rim and he’s a good finisher in the paint. Miles has the best touch in tournament. Plays the game so effortlessly. Very high IQ; Miles is a three level scorer.
