Kayne Nelson York County 2023
- 5”8 Guard/ Wing that can shoot the ball from 3 very well. Has great composure and plays with a great paste. Kid knows how you draw the contact when attacking the basket. Didn’t miss a free-throw.
Bryce Cash Team Loaded 2023
- With nice size at 6’3 the players can dribble and post. He plays inside/out and runs the floor well. In transition, he knows how to draw contact and finish. This wing will have a big summer, excited to see how he grows for Team Loaded NC
TJ Hardy Team Loaded 2023
- 6’1 Physical Guard that can get to the paint and finish strong. I was very impressed with how this kid doesn’t get tired. He makes his presence known on the defensive end all game! TJ is a smart player when he drives, he can read help defenders to make the drop off pass. Along with a nice body frame, TJ has a quick handle with the ball, that allows him to get past his man efficiently.
Bryce Funderburk Charlotte Nets 2021
- 6’2 guard who can straight shoot it! Enjoyed watching him adjust his game when teams found out he can shoot. Bryce is a very smart player with unlimited range. Doesn’t have a problem playing physical drawing contact when he drives it. The most surprising aspect of this guard is his court vision.
Silas Christie Upward Stars Columbia 2021 16U
- 6’3 guard who plays the 3 for Upward Columbia but is really a point guard. Really impressed in his outings at the Queen City Classic. He has the best dribble pull up that I’ve seen all day. But can also step out and hit the three-pointers. Being a pass-first guard, he knows when to take over a game. One of the top performers I’ve seen in Day 1 of Queen City Classic.
Jordan Spraggins Upward Stars Columbia 2021 16U
- 6’7 wing that has the ability to step out to 3 as well as his finesse presence on the block. The wing goes and contests every block as I watched in get 7 in one game. Jordan’s most kept secret is his ability to pass the ball. Sees the floor at a high level.
LJ Johnson Team Synergy 2021
- 6’2 Guard When I got a chance to watch this player vs CC Elite, he didn’t disappoint! He knows how to read gaps well to go along with being a knockdown shooter! This kid filled the stat sheet with 25 points 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. This guard was all over the place and finding his spots well. He knocks down 5 threes and attacked the rim strong!
Ethan Parker Team Synergy 2021
- 6’2 ATHLETIC wing: He uses his athleticism on the defensive end, and that’s what makes him special. Ever second of the game he brings energy for his team. Key player for this team to continue to succeed.
Perry Smith Team United 2022
- 6’9 Forward for Team United is a big skilled athletic post! Everything in the paint he finished above the rim. I like his ability to step out and knock down the three ball as well as his short corner. He is a walking double-double, can’t wait to see how he improves for Team United this summer!
Donovan Atwell Team United 2022
- 6’4 Lefty who is the BEST shooter I’ve seen at this tournament all weekend. Saturday in his two outings combined, he made a total of 11 threes. Donovan doesn’t need much space to get his shot off; its quick, pure, and relaxed. He is Team United most underrated player and will be a key player throughout the summer!
Calen Riehl Carolina Warriors 2021
- 6’3 Guard/Wing that left his mark at this tournament! Elite lefty shooter who moves well without the ball. This guard can shoot it several different ways; from the three, off the bounce, off balanced, and one leg! I’ve seen him make tough shots all tournament for Carolina Warriors helping his team win the Silver Bracket. This kid will make a name for himself this summer.
Christian Johnson NC GO HARD 2022
- 6’2 Guard who individually I would give MVP of the tournament for 16U. He is a younger guard that plays up with NC GO HARD and did everything for his team! He can shoot, play defense, dribble, as well as find his teammates. Christian has averaged more than 23 in the 4 games I’ve seen. In the matchup vs Team United 15U he gave a strong defensive team all they could handle. I haven’t seen a guard that can stay in front of him. He has a lightning quick change of speed that allows him to get wherever he wants to go. He doesn’t shy away from any matchup and has a killer motor. Really impressed with his outings at Queen City Showcase.
