2027 Xavier Williams (DB Elite):
Williams was a player who grabbed our attention with his scoring presence, putting on multiple offensive performances that even included a coming-out party with 33 points vs. WCBA. The 2027 prospect was able to help carry the weight offensively, scoring and making big plays on both sides of the floor. He was excellent in his ability to attack downhill, finish through and around defenders, and pick his spots as well.
2029 Trenton Avent (Team Crews):
Avent name that we have seen on a few occasions and with his length, size, and early flashes of skillset, he would be a young prospect worth monitoring. He catches your attention at his age, towering over many of his teammates and opponents but he also was able to show early flashes of his versatility and impact on both sides. Really liked his instincts and impact in the paint, showing touch and ability to finish, but he also was active on the defensive end.
2028 Kaedyn Cole (Carolina Legend):
Cole, who is already around 6’5/6’6 at a young age, brings a lot of intangibles to the court but also is one that has the potential and physical tools to be a name in his class. When talking about his game, you immediately notice the blend of size and mobility to go along with his strong frame but make his presence felt around the basket offensively and altering shots defensively as well. Cole looks to be just scratching the surface of his potential.
2028 Carson Grear (KOC):
Grear had an excellent overall showing at the Summer Showcase, being one of the go-to players offensively for his team. All throughout the event, he was able to bring a steady presence of offense for his team. Grear plays at his own pace, picks his spots well, is a strong creator for himself, and honestly does a little bit of everything for his team; makes his impact felt all over the floor. Overall, Grear is one that certainly put his name on our watch list for 2028.
2026 Izaiah Drew-King (Triad Falcons:
Drew-King is a big that we have had the pleasure of watching on several occasions this summer, and each time we view we see the progress he continues to make. The 6’8 big man is a long, athletic forward who continues to understand his impact in the paint. Boxing out, attacking the glass, posting up, and understanding how to operate as well as finish around the basket… there is a lot to like overall. You add on top of how well he moves and runs the floor, as well as his defensive presence, Drew-King should be a name on more radars for 2026.
