Starting the season off right:
Kaiser has quickly made a name for himself in Virginia, as he is putting up some impressive numbers early on this season. Averaging 33 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 1.0 assists per game, Kaiser is showing that he can be a big-time offensive threat on the court. But he has really stepped up with his focus, as the dual-sport athlete has been focusing on his basketball game since football was canceled this year in Virginia.
“The start of the season has been good, I’ve really prepared myself for the basketball season since football was canceled in the fall,” he told Phenom Hoops. “My mentality is always the same, I just think I’m the best player on the court and focusing on doing all the little things with a purpose; it’s big for me as well.”
Kaiser is recognized as a shooter, shooting 51 percent from the floor early on and showing his range as well. Schools are certainly not wasting time to jump on him for their 2023 recruiting class, as he holds offers already from Coastal Carolina and Southern Utah, while schools like Stanford, Davidson, Ohio, and San Diego State have shown interest.
