Head coach Tyler Johnson at Cox Mill put together another successful season for his program and if you have had a chance to watch his team in action, you know that they play with a fun pace but also is a balanced team as well on the court. This season, the Chargers finished with an 11-3 overall record, having seven players averaging double-figure minutes and getting a little bit of everyone in the scoresheet.

One player of interest though has been the play of point guard Marcus Morgan, the younger brother of G-League standout Matt Morgan. Even though Morgan was battling through some injuries throughout the year, he still produced on the floor, averaging 7.0ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.9apg, and 2.2spg. He also shot 43 percent from three this season and is shooting 41 percent from behind the arc in the past two seasons at Cox Mill.

Morgan was a unanimous All-Conference selection with his play at point guard this past season and for sure will be looking to showcase more of his game this spring and summer with the Charlotte Hoyas. He is one though to monitor for sure with what he has shown, as the 6’3 prospect will continue to have eyes on him.
