2027 Keyonee “KJ” Terry (CP3)

Terry has impressed me the last few weeks with his play, as I’ve seen an uptick in showing more of his game and aggressiveness. He has caught our eyes before with his length, athleticism, and potential, and one can see he is starting to come along. Terry does a great job in attacking the rim and looking to finish high and strong at the rim. He creates well off the bounce, gets out in transition, and can also knock down open shots. There still is room for improvement with his game, but he should be put on more radars around the region.

2027 Zeke Battier (AWigg Elite)

We had a chance to watch Battier this high school season and had another chance to watch him the last two weeks. One can see there is intrigue with his game, and indeed, being the son of Shane Battier should allow him to learn more about the game as well. At 6’7, he is one that does a great job in opening up the offense with his shot-making, his range from behind the arc, and fluid overall release as well as ability to score in other ways. Battier gets to his spots well and displays a ton of confidence in knocking down shots with range, a factor in his game that college coaches will certainly notice early on.

2027 Brayden Gatling (SW15H Elite)

I’ve enjoyed watching the play of Gatling over the years, and he continues to flourish with his ability to be an offensive weapon. Gatling is at his best when the ball is in his hands, whether it is making the right play, making good reads to facilitate, or being a dynamic scorer for himself. He can attack well off the dribble and get paint touches, has shown the ability to score from a variety of levels, gets by defenders with ease at times, and finds his teammates well. Really have liked his overall development as a guard here in NC.

2027 Kingston Carmichael (NLPB)

Carmichael had a very good weekend overall at the Phenom Stay Positive, as he was a strong and effective offensive weapon. Seemingly every time I watched him, Carmichael was in attack mode and getting downhill. He is strong in attacking the defense, pushes well in transition, and uses his athleticism to finish at the rim. But what makes him interesting is his size at 6’4, his ability to knock down shots from the perimeter as well, and the constant offensive pressure he provides on the floor. He is one to keep an eye on for sure in the class.
