Keenan: 12-16-11-17 : 56
Augusta Christian: 19-13-20-17 : 69

For Augusta Christian:
Elijah Crawford 21pts, 4asts
Darrin Shine 14pts, 10rebs, 2stls
Khaleel Pratt 13pts

For Keenan:
Chrisean Oree 23pts
Olyn Knox 10pts, 14rebs
Semajeh Echols 6pts, 8rebs

Standouts:

2024 Elijah Crawford (Augusta Christian): Crawford is a name that you will want to get familiar within the state of Georgia, as he really captured our eyes even on a somewhat off-shooting night. But the young guard showed a smooth, confident pull-up game, being able to get to his spots and score in a variety of ways. Also showcased his bounce, finishing out in transition at the rim. Not quite sure what his recruitment is looking like but I expect more to get involved.

2023 Chrisean Oree (Keenan): Oree was the leader and the go-to player for much of the game on Day 1 of The Bash. He plays with a terrific feel, sees the floor well, and has the balance of running the offense as well as picking his spots to score. He was aggressive and attack the defense, allowing him to also get to the line as well as knock down shots from the perimeter.

2022 Olyn Knox (Keenan): A senior leader on the floor, Knox has been a known name for some time and continues to be a consistent producer in the paint.  Not a typical forward but one that brings versatility, Knox did a terrific job in getting on the boards, whether it was on the offensive or defensive end. He also was able to show good touch around the rim.  Uses his athletic frame to his advantage and played with a great motor on both ends.

2024 Darrin Shine (Augusta Christian): Shine was interesting to watch because he wasn’t flashy, just productive when he was on the court. The young guard impacted the floor in an array of ways, capitalizing on scoring opportunities, being another ball-handler on the court, playing strong defense, knocking down free throws, and helping on the boards. He quietly had a double-double in the win on Day 1.

Orangeville: 15-14-23-10 : 62
Gray: 13-15-6-12 : 46

Stats:
Orangeville:
Jeremy Foumena 13pts, 15rebs
Majambu Mbikay 18pts
Jefferson Monegro 13pts, 4asts

Gray:
Jalen Jefferson 11pts
Montraivis White 10pts, 4 asts
Calvin Hall 10pts

Standouts:

2022 Jefferson Monegro (Orangeville Prep): Watching Monegro in action, it wasn’t hard to fall in love with what he provided on the floor. This young man is just TOUGH.  He sees the floor well, looks to find and set up his teammates, can get downhill and finish strong, and loved his effort on the defensive end with his scrappy play.

2022 Jeremy Foumena (Orangeville Prep): The 6’11 big man started out a little slow but started to get rolling in this one, eventually ending his day with a double-double. Foumena works hard in getting his position down low, makes himself big and available, and shows a good motor on the boards as well.  Smooth, fluid motion in his shot and even gave us a glimpse that he can step out from three and knock it down.

2022 Montraivis White (Gray Collegiate): Even though he was one of the smaller guards on the court, White really showcased his speed on the court on both sides of the court. Created well for himself, played scrappy defense, was able to penetrate at times but also weave through the defense to find his shot.

2022 Majambu Mbikay (Orangeville Prep): The 6’8 senior could be a nice steal for a program, especially with what he showed on Day 1. Mbikay is such a versatile prospect on the floor and just seemed to get his hands on everything. Operating on all levels, putting it on the deck and attacking, finishing strong at and around the rm, attacking the boards, and making some nice defensive plays, Mbikay did a little bit of everything on the court.

Patrick School: 12-18-12-16 : 58
Ridge View: 11-10-7-14 : 42

Stats:
Patrick: Dionte Johnson 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assts/ Mike Loftin 16 points
Ridge: GG Jackson 25 points/ Gamar Powers 5

Standouts:

2023 GG Jackson (Ridge View): What else can be said that hasn’t been said about this young man… he is special, there is no getting around it. You are talking about a 6’9, incredibly skilled forward that can honestly operate from any area of the court. He is skilled enough to put I ton the deck and create for himself, has really grown in his confidence with his outside shot behind the arc, and he is such a fluid athlete that knows how to get what he wants, when he wants.

2022 Dionte Johnson (Patrick School): Really liked what Johnson did on the court.  The senior guard was strong on the floor, was able to penetrate and get to the basket, as well as control the game. Tough guard up north, was scrappy and physical on the boards for his size, and found his teammates well without turning the ball over. Really plays with his head up, sees the floor well, picks his spots, and make good decisions on the court.
