2021 6’5 Daylen Berry (Garner Road 3SSB): Berry has shown his smooth game all weekend long but he had a coming out party in his final game on Day 2, scoring 28 points. He did it all over the court, hitting big three’s and showing his range and effectiveness from the perimeter but also continuing to use his length and smooth feel to get to the rim.
2021 6’9 Jordan Wildy (Garner Road 3SSB): Wildy just continues to expand his game, which makes him a scary prospect. He already has the length and gets after it on both ends of the floor, showing his timing to for putback dunks. Wildy though continues to expand his game to the perimeter to make him a double-threat offensively.
2022 6’4 Amare Haynie (Team Eat 17u): Haynie’s play-making ability is fun to watch. IN his final game, he got out in transition and finished well but also shows his IQ and vision on the court, especially when pushing the ball.
2022 6’3 BJ Edwards (BMaze 2022): Edwards saved the best performance for last, scoring 30 points to help lead his team which was down big, back for a 2-point win. He is a 6’3 guard that plays tough and physical, gets to his spot, and attacks.
2022 6’5 Jalen Higgins (Garner Road 3SSB 16u): Higgins looked sharp in this matchup. One can see that he is really starting to develop his overall feel on how to score the ball effectively on multiple levels, but still showing that he is one of the better shooters from three.
