2027 Keyonee 'KJ' Terry (Gentz):
Terry started out the day very well, as he quickly grabbed my attention with his play, his upside, and with how young he is today. You must love his size, standing nearly 6'4 already and showed that he can be a weapon from multiple positions. He plays big, is active on the boards, handles well, was able to create, sees the floor, and also showed his ability to knock down shots. This is a young man that has a lot of potential and should be on your watch list as he develops.
2027 Vhalaigjzio Robeson (CLT Wolves):
Robeson was another young standout early on today, as the guard was filling it up consistently throughout the game. The young guard was able to make plays off the dribble, get into the lane and finish strong over defenders, while also knocking down shots inside and out. Really liked his competitive nature early on in his game, as he stepped up to help his team to a Day 2 victory.
2028 Jacob Dyson/ 2028 Joshua Dyson (Strong Center):
Two new names to jot down and watch, the brother duo of Jacob and Joshua could be interesting to watch down the road. Being that this is their first year of travel ball, these two have size that stands out early and really showcased that they could be wo strong prospects that finish well around the paint down the road. Just a few more young names to watch out for as they develop.
2026 Hudson Fitzgerald (WCBA):
Talk about lighting it up on the court, Fitzgerald showcased why he should be looked at as one of the top deep range shooters in the Class of 2026 here in NC. Fitzgerald was terrific getting out to the open spots, and displaying his range and confident release. Time after time he was letting it fly, knocking down shots, and showcasing his IQ. He was an absolute game-changer on the court to start the day.
2027 Josiah Dorsette (Save Sports):
Dorsette had a strong showing in helping lead the charge for his team. When you watch him on the floor, he brings a scrappy feel to the court. He plays hard on both ends, gets into his opponent as a defender, and really shot the ball well. He does a nice job in making plays off the dribble but had the three-ball falling in the second half to help his team.
2029 JaKye Smith (Strong Center):
Talk about a young and physical forward, Smith was catching several eyes with his 20-point performance to start the day. But when you watch him, it was all about how he was getting it done; extremely strong, always active on the floor, bullying defenders in the paint and on the boards, and showing nice touch in finishing as well as producing defensively.
2028 Kaeyden Cole (FBC The Chosen):
We continue our trend of young, rising talent here at the Summer Showcase, as we highlight another young big to jot down and watch develop in the coming years. Cole is a long, thin forward that uses his size to his advantage. He moves well, stays active in the paint, finishes high, and has a soft touch around the basket.
