2023 Kanye Nelson (York County Legends): Nelson came out strong and really put his name on the map out there to start his weekend. He simply torched the nets, especially from three as he knocked down multiple threes without even hitting the rim. He played confidently, showcasing his ability to knock down shots, create for himself at times, and attack in transition.

2023 Brock Rose (Team Synergy): Rose started off a little slow but got things going. The young man has continued to grow and develop his game, showing his ability to use his size and rise over defenders to knock down shots from multiple levels and also get to the line.

2022 Ahmari Samuel (Next Level SC): Samuel was off the charts to start his weekend, going off for 30 points and doing it in a variety of ways.  He plays with a smooth feel to his game, operating from multiple levels, scoring in a variety of ways, getting downhill with great body control, and creating off the dribble.  He scored in all ways possible.

2023 Will Gray (NC Spartans Haidinger): Gray continues to grow on me, and more coaches should be looking his way, especially with what he provides on both sides of the floor. He shows how effective he can be as a defender, really creating trouble for opponents he is guarding. But the strong-framed guard also plays at a great pace, is under control, and finishes well through contact. Had a strong high school season and is carrying it into the LIVE period.

2023 Zion McDuffie (Anthony Morrow Elite): Coming off a great high school season, McDuffie is bringing that same energy into the summer.  McDuffie does a little bit of everything, scoring well inside the arc, showing off his athleticism and his ability to get to the line.  But he also can step out, impacts and defends multiple positions, is effective on the glass, and can impact the game in a variety of ways.

2024 Chase Daniel (BSA Supreme): Part of the terrific duo, it was Daniel that really stepped up early on Day 1, with his ability to play off the ball, moving well without the ball, and finding openings in the defense for his shot or easy baskets. But he continues to show that he can be one that gets others involved as well, leading the charge offensively and getting after it defensively.

2023 Walker Woodall (Wildcats Elite 17u): At 6’5, Woodall is an interesting player to watch on the court. He can operate in a variety of ways on the floor, showing his ability to step out and knock down perimeter shots, or show a little shake in his game in creating for himself.  He has a very nice feel in finding his teammates well, delivering passes in tight windows.

2023 Julius Harrison (NL Disciples): Harrison continues to play at a high level for his team, showing his versatility on both ends.  He gave us a little bit of everything, scoring inside the paint and playing strong but also knocking down four threes with range.  His blend of size, athleticism, and all-around game should have more coaches looking his way.
