2022 6’4 Ta’zir Smith (Higher Level): Smith was excellent when I sat down to watch his game.  He was non-stop getting downhill, staying aggressive and embracing contact.  There wasn’t a defender that could stay in front of him in that game, as he continued to put pressure on the defense and finish tough buckets or get to the line.

2023 6’2 Caden Bell (Team Wall 2023): I do believe that you should start hearing more about Bell’s game and what he provides on the court but on Day 1, the point guard displayed his tremendous speed on the court, something he has shown several times during the high school season.  Such a playmaker and really took over offensively, showing that he can be a multi-level scorer.

2022 Will Kelly (Rod Howard Select): We have seen Kelly in action countless times but this was certainly an impressive day in Virginia Beach. Kelly played with a smooth feel, being terrific in finishing in transition and knocking down some extremely tough jumpers.  With what he showed today, there should be schools coming his way more with offers.

2021 6’5 Torrence Horton (Team AKT): One of the unsigned seniors playing in the event, Horton certainly caught our eyes at the Phenom 757 Showcase.  He was full of energy and backed up his talk with his play.  He simply did it all on the floor, scoring in all areas, knocking down jumpers, creating off the dribble and getting into the lane, and finishing… while also getting after it defensively and on the boards.

2024 6’4 Drew Pittman (Team Premier 2024): Heads up guys, we have another Pittman coming through the basketball scene and he showed just what he could do. Just a 2024 prospect, Pittman stepped out and showed his comfort level from the perimeter.  Smooth jumper and one that plays fundamentally sound on the court.  He continues to develop and impress.
